18-wheeler turnover

Staff Report

A truck tractor turning from Ranger Highway onto South Bowie Drive Monday afternoon overturned, sending scrap metal debris, including a previously crushed car, onto two nearby trucks, according to Weatherford police.

The driver of a gold Chevrolet pickup was transported to the hospital for a minor injury, while the other drivers involved were not reported injured.

Traffic was impacted as responders removed the debris and righted the truck and tractor.

Police were investigating to determine if speed was a factor, according to Weatherford Police Sgt. Wendy Field.
