Parker County 4-H’s Extravaganza kickoff

Ever wanted to know more about 4-H and what it offers to youth in Parker County?

Well here is your chance to learn.

On Sept. 16, Parker County 4-H will host the kickoff to the new 4-H year with an open house at the Parker County Extension office, 604 N. Main St., in Weatherford. The group’s Extravaganza will be open 6-9 p.m. and is a come-and-go event.

Information on all the programs offered through 4-H will be available, including judging teams, livestock, food and nutrition, photography, shooting sports and much more.

Also, each of the nine clubs in Parker County will be represented and available for questions and member enrollment. There will be games, food, beverages and a ton of fun for all.
