PET OF THE WEEK: Midnight seeks light of new home

Midnight has been at the shelter for quite a while. She is possibly a labrador/Great Dane cross. In other words, she’s a big girl that’s very fit.

She loves running and playing in the yard and would love to have another dog for company. She is strong on the leash but if she exercises in the yard first she is much more relaxed on a walk. She may be housebroken. She is already spayed and vaccinated and will receive a microchip on adoption.

If you might be interested in Midnight or any of her friends, they can be visited at the Weatherford-Parker County Animal Shelter, 403 Hickory Lane,  Tuesday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., with extended hours on Wednesday and Friday until 6 p.m. Visit the animal shelter’s website www.weatherfordtx.gov/animal and see all of the available dogs.

For the month of November the shelter is running a special with all adoptions just $40 that include sterilization, vaccinations, microchipping and all the love that they will bring to your family.

For those who can’t adopt but would still like to help, Weatherford-Parker County Animal Shelter always appreciates donations of cat litter, dog food, cat food, trash bags, cleaning supplies and monetary donations.
