Local student wins at Fort Worth Stock Show

FORT WORTH – Brooke Chilcutt, a FFA member from Weatherford, exhibited two winners – the reserve champion ram and reserve champion ewe – at the junior breeding Hampshire sheep show at the 2013 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo on Jan. 29.

The 2013 show is hosting nearly 10,000 junior exhibitors from across Texas, competing for prizes, scholarships and $107,445.00 in premiums.

The 117th edition of the legendary Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo offers visitors a chance to experience the unique western lifestyle along with a one-of-a-kind combination of history, tradition and Western heritage.
