Major burglary reported on Soda Springs Road


Weatherford Democrat

— Jewelry valued at more than $20,000 was reported stolen from a home in the 2900 block of Soda Springs Road.

The victim said they left the home at 7:40 a.m. Monday and returned at 4:30 p.m. A couple of hours later the victim reported seeing an earring lying on the bedroom floor. After checking a jewelry box it was determined a number of items were missing.

Reported stolen was a $7,000 wedding set; a yellow gold wedding band, valued at $1,000; a solitare white gold ring with a diamond, $2,000; a Tarleton State University class ring, amethyst with a diamond, $1,000; diamond earrings, $3,000; diamond earrings, $500; a diamond necklace, $1,500; a gold nugget ring with a diamond, $1,500; a gold nugget ring with a diamond, $1,000; a Coleman High School senior ring, $150; a Mineral Wells High School senior ring, $150; and miscellaneous silver costume jewelry, $7,500.



Burglary of shed

Parker County deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of East Shangri La Drive in Azle concerning the burglary of a shed that reportedly occurred between August and Monday. Reported stolen was an NRS brand brown saddle, valued at $1,600.



Burglary in Cresson

Industrial tools were reported stolen in a building burglary that took place between 10:30 a.m. Friday and 7:30 a.m. Monday in the 15000 block of U.S. Highway 377 South in Cresson.
