WBA’s Charity Showcase Luncheon Friday at Willow Park

WILLOW PARK – The Women’s Business Alliance Luncheon is Friday, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., at Oak Ridge Church of Christ, 4895 E. I-20 Service Road North, in Willow Park.

Looking for a place to volunteer? Wanting to give back to your community?

Join us for the Second Annual Charity Showcase Luncheon hosted by the Women’s Business Alliance on Friday. Various non profit organizations from East Parker County are participating and you will have an opportunity before and after lunch to visit with their representatives.

The participating organizations’ top three needs are listed below. Donations of their top needs are welcome and encouraged at the event.

The luncheon cost is $15 for members and $20 for non-members. For more information or to register for the luncheon go to web.eastparkerchamber.com and click on Women’s Business Alliance.

Top three needs: financial support to pay for respite care for families caring for loved ones with Alzheimer’s disease at home in Parker County (approximately $15 per hour of care); 10 volunteers to help with Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Weatherford College on Saturday, Sept. 28; small gifts for caregivers/those with Alzheimer’s for our case workers to take while making home visits in Parker County.

Parker Paws
