Parker County Peach Food Contest winners

WEATHERFORD —

Several home cooks were crowned during Saturday’s Peach Food Contest, an outlet of the 30th Annual Parker County Peach Festival.

Sponsors for the event, which was hosted by All Saints Anglican Church, included Holland Lake Nursing Center — Donna Tillman, Cynthia Pelt, Rhonda Edwards, Terri Smith and Janna Blumentritt; and Renew Home Health — Karen Combs and Rhonda Edwards. Helping with the competition were Becky Parker and Kennedy Combs.

With numerous entries and a successful showing, organizers say plans are already in the works for next year.
