Weatherford Democrat

— Santa Fe Health and Rehab Center in Weatherford is preparing to send local students back to school in style.

The skilled nursing and rehab center will host a Back-to-School Bash for the community’s students on Aug. 6 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Families are invited to bring their school-age children to enjoy the center’s back-to-school event including carnival games, musical entertainment, popcorn, candy and prizes.

“We are happy to have this opportunity to serve our local community,” said Karin Sanders, business development specialist. “It is our wish that every child will go back to school with all the supplies they need to be successful this year.”

Santa Fe Health And Rehab Center, located at 1205 Santa Fe Drive, is a 120-bed long-term care facility offering skilled nursing care, rehabilitation therapy, short-term care, respite care and special care services for those whose conditions need specialized attention.
