Grace Community Fellowship, located off of Ranger Highway at 111 Ranch Lane in Weatherford, is excited and happy to announce the addition of new Senior Pastor Donn Jibbens. He has been married to his wife, Tami, for over 32 years. They have five children: two daughters and three sons, ranging in ages from 32-15; and also have six grandchildren.
Pastor Donn grew up on a family farm in west central Minnesota. He started farming as a freshman in high school and soon purchased his first commercial Herefords. His childhood dream was to always raise Hereford cattle. As a sophomore, he purchased his first registered polled Herefords. In time, Donn exhibited many champions at several state fairs and even at the major shows such as Denver National Stock Show, American Royal and NAILE in Louisville. Donn went on to build one of the top Polled Hereford herds in North America.
In 1988, Donn felt a strong calling in his heart to full time ministry and, after a season of prayer, knew in his heart it was time to disperse his herd and sell off his childhood dream and go to Bible school. In August of 1989, Donn dispersed his herd with cattle selling into 19 states. A few weeks later Donn loaded up his wife and three kids and went off to Bible College in North Dakota. Pastor Donn has been the senior pastor of five previous churches and has also been actively serving in several areas of ministry at Gateway Church in Southlake since 2008.
