POLICE BLOTTER: Juvenile female reports assault

Juvenile reports assault

Weatherford police said a female juvenile reported being the victim of an assault in the 1000 block of South Main Street on Jan. 31. She said a male made contact with her that she said was unwanted and offensive.

Thefts from vehicles

A business in the 1400 block of Fort Worth Highway stated a person or persons entered seven vehicles on their property and removed the navigation systems from each at a combined loss of $14,000. The thefts reportedly occurred between 6:15 p.m. Saturday and 7:30 a.m. Monday.

Identity theft

A woman who lives in the 1600 block of Remington Circle reported to Weatherford police someone obtained and used her Social Security number to file a 2013 tax return.

Gas heist

A 46-year-old man reported on Tuesday the theft 150 gallons of fuel, valued at $300, from his truck. The reported theft occurred between 9 p.m. Monday and 1:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 1100 block of West Park Avenue.

Assault

Parker County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched at 12:29 p.m. Wednesday to the 9000 block of West Highway 199, Poolville, in reference to an assault. The 33-year-old male victim stated he was assaulted by a known individual at the 8700 block of West Highway 199. No arrest was reported at the time of this report.

Fraudulent access

On Wednesday a PCSO deputy met with a 31-year-old woman who stated an unknown person had gained access to a charge account of hers and made a purchase without her permission. The victim stated this had occurred nearly a year ago in the 100 block of Ellis Spring Drive.

Lipan-area burglary

On Monday PCSO deputies were dispatched to the 600 block of Nash Lane, Lipan, in reference to a burglary investigation. Upon arrival, deputies spoke to and identified the 52-year-old male complainant who advised that sometime between 5:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. someone entered his residence and stole cash.
