Debit card fraud

A 35-year-old woman who told police she has never been to Florida said three transactions at a pharmacy in Florida were made on her debit card earlier this month, each for $59.12. A report was made.



Left it behind

At 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, a suspect reportedly tried leaving a department store in the 100 block of East Interstate 20 without paying for a $560 vacuum cleaner. When confronted, the suspect reportedly took off running, leaving the vacuum cleaner behind.



Vehicle burglary

At 6:50 p.m. Wednesday Weatherford police were called to the 1800 block of South Main Street where a 62-year-old man said someone entered the bed of his 1997 Ford pickup and stole a bag of tools, valued at $100.



Drug arrest

Police were called Wednesday evening to a business in the 800 block of South Main Street to check on a man in the restroom. There police found Christopher Dean Morris, 26, of Weatherford. The officer determined Morris was intoxicated in public and issued him a citation. However a subsequent search allegedly revealed two bottles of prescription pills in containers not properly marked. He was booked into Parker County Jail on a charge of possession of dangerous drugs and public intoxication, where he remained Thursday evening under bonds totaling $2,199.



Someone inside

Police said someone unlawfully entered the residence of a 35-year-old female Tuesday in the 1200 block of Van Winkle Street. However the resident did not report anything missing. Police said there was evidence someone had been inside the home.



Counterfeit bills

Police were called Tuesday evening to a store in the 2600 block of East Bankhead Highway where a clerk said a male attempted to purchase merchandise using two counterfeit $20 bills. The male was refused service and left in an unknown car. The bills were confiscated by police.
