POLICE BLOTTER: Man charged with spray paint huffing

Following are some of the offenses, investigations and calls for service reported by Weatherford Police Department for the period 6 am. Tuesday to 6 a.m. Wednesday:

HUFFING ARREST

A woman called police to the 600 block of Bryant Street around 9:46 p.m. Tuesday to tell officers a man there was in the backyard inhaling spray paint. Police said they found Oscar Alex Luna, 41, and said Luna had “a very strong aroma of spray paint coming from his breath and person.” A can of gold spray paint was also found on a table where Luna was sitting, according to a report. He was arrested, charged with possession and use of volatile chemicals.

FAMILY FIGHT

Jayme Westbrook, 41, was arrested on a charge of interfering with a 911 call during a domestic dispute reported at 6:11 p.m. Tuesday in the 1400 block of Shadow Run. A 22-year-old woman claimed Westbrook assaulted herand interfered with her attempts to call for help.

3:59 p.m., animal call, 100 block of College Park Drive.

4:46 p.m., hit-and-run wreck, 1800 block of South Main Street.

5:17 p.m., theft, 1800 block of South Main Street.

6:03 p.m., domestic disturbance,

1100 block of Fort Worth Highway.

6:18 p.m., intoxicated driver, Bethel Road.

7:03 p.m., animal call, 300 block of West Second Street.

7:23 p.m., animal call, 2000 block of Woodland Hills Lane.

8:13 p.m., reckless driver, 1000 block of Lynn Street.

8:22 p.m., reckless driver, 1700 block of North Rusk Street.

10:47 p.m., suspicious vehicle, 100 block of Meadowview Drive.

11:21 p.m., suspicious person, West Russell Street.

Wednesday

2:29 a.m., suspicious person, 300 block of Clark Avenue.

4:28 a.m., suspicious person, 1500 block of Shadow Run.
