FNB-Weatherford to host Dave Ramsey Financial Seminar

First National Bank-Weatherford will host the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University seminar beginning Jan 17.

Registration is available at www.daveramsey.com. Cost of the class is $89 per couple.

Dave Ramsey’s class will teach you everything you need to know about dumping debt, building wealth and changing your family tree. More than one million families have attended FPU with amazing results. On average, they pay off $5,300 in debt and save $2,700 in just 90 days.

FPU coordinator Bill Kiker, a successful business owner, will lead the classes that meet for one hour a week for nine weeks.

What will you learn?

Lesson 1: Super Saving Common Sense for Your Dollars and Cents

Dave explains the seven baby steps that will guide you throughout Financial Peace University. You will also learn the three key reasons why you should save money—and why you must start now.

Lesson 2: Relating With Money Nerds and Free Spirits Unite!

    Professional auctioneer Randall McDaniel conducted his fourth annual PCRTA auction of items donated by members on April 1. Several paddle wars transpired for popular items. Additionally, members participated in a silent auction, a first for the group. A total of $1,400 from the auction was contributed to the PCRTA’s operating fund. McDaniel is a 1986 graduate of Weatherford High School. The auction was sponsored by the Community Service Committee, chaired by Barbara Rothrock.
