Defective brake lights on a car reportedly led to it being stopped by a Weatherford police officer around 10:13 p.m. Monday evening in the 200 block of Fort Worth Highway. The officer reportedly saw “green, leafy substance” debris next to the ashtray then, after asking the driver to exit the vehicle, allegedly found a glass smoking pipe, with marijuana residue, in plain view.
Upon a search of the vehicle, the officer reported finding a clear plastic bag of marijuana. Tyler A. Miller, 22, of Weatherford, was arrested for possession less than 2 ounces of marijuana and taken to Parker County Jail, where he was released Tuesday evening after posting $750. His vehicle was impounded.
