Weatherford Democrat

Vice President and Co-Founder, Kevin Grace, of Nextlink Broadband, presented a $1,096 check to Executive Director of Grace House Ministries Dana Blankenship following the end of a Nextlink fundraiser to support the local community. Nextlink strives to deliver voice and data services to the under-served enterprise, commercial, and residential markets of rural suburban Texas.

Nextlink is committed to contributing to the prosperity in the communities in which they serve, and chose Grace House Ministries as a beneficiary of their Jan. 20 – Feb. 17 fundraiser. This fundraiser consisted of selling $1 tickets for entry into a drawing for one of four baskets created by the Nextlink team: Date Night basket, Texas Proud basket, Family Game Night basket, and Grillin’ & Chillin’ basket. The fundraiser earned $1,096 for Grace House Ministries, a non-profit organization located in Weatherford. Grace House provides the following services to the local community: free pregnancy tests and 3D sonograms, free and confidential peer counseling, medical referrals, free pregnancy and parenting classes, and a free in-school wellness and sexual education training program.
