WC graduation ceremony set for Saturday

Weatherford College will celebrate another successful academic year with commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 10, in the Jerry Durant Auditorium at Weatherford High School.

More than 200 students are expected to walk across the stage, while a total of 835 graduated from Weatherford College this past year. The ceremony for Associate in Arts, Associate of Science and Associate in Arts Teaching begins at 10 a.m. while the ceremony for Associate of Applied Science and certificate recipients is scheduled for 2 p.m.

All guests need a ticket, provided by a graduate, to enter the auditorium.

Clarin Gniffke, WC alumnus and Outreach Representative for U.S. House of Representatives member Kay Granger, will address the graduates and audience. The Faculty Member of the Year will also be announced during commencement ceremonies.
