IHOP gives back to Shriner's

Members of the Parker County Shrine Club presented the Weatherford IHOP and general manager Carrie Kellner with a plaque of appreciation. The restaurant has contributed more than $30,000 in recent years for the Shriner’s Hospital since its partnership seven years ago.

During IHOP’S National Pancake Day, customers received a free stack of flapjacks in exchange for contributions for Shriner’s. The Weatherford location served up 655 stacks of pancakes for the event.

“It feels great,” Tom Smith, of the Shriner Imperial Donor Relations Committee, said. “We’re very appreciative of the support we’ve gotten.

“And the pancakes aren’t bad either.”

Pictured are the Weatherford IHOP staff, including general manager Carrie Kellner, and Moslah Shrine Club members, Tom Smith, Chuck Huddleston, Guy Tyra, Phil Trew and Art Hayter.
