On Sunday, May 4, at 7 p.m., Tommy Neiman, will be speaking at a special service at First Baptist Church of Dennis.
Neiman is a full-time firefighter/paramedic with the Saint Lucie Country Fire District in Fort Pierce, Florida. He also serves as one of the department’s chaplains, is southeast regional director for the Fellowship of Christian Firefighters, International, and is a member of the Indian River Baptist Association as an ordained pastor. He also serves as chaplain for the New York Mets during spring training.
Over the past 20 years, his department has appeared a number of times on the TV show, “Rescue 911.” Tommy has authored a book called “Sirens for the Cross,” which shares many stories of the lessons learned from responding to emergency situations. He also has established a Christian ministry by the same name. More information about Tommy and Sirens for the Cross Ministries can be found at www.tommyneiman.com.
All local emergency response personnel are especially invited to come hear Tommy’s special presentation and, as always, this event is free and open to the public. For directions or more information, see www.fbcdennis.org.
