Highest honor graduates take center stage at Weatherford College Commencement

Eight graduates were singled out of the May 2013 graduating class for special honors at Weatherford College’s spring Commencement exercises May 11. 

By achieving the highest Grade Point Average (GPA) in their respective degree programs, the eight were presented Highest Honors certificates by Vice President of Instruction and Student Services, Dr. Richard Bowers.

Receiving the distinguished Highest Honor awards were: Jessica Jordan Bearden and Kelli Diane Mims (tie), both of Weatherford, Associate in Arts, and Calvin Loftis of Aledo, Associate in Science.

The Associate of Applied Science Highest Honors, in a four-way tie, were Amanda Ezell, Granbury, and, of Weatherford, Allie Elizabeth Horn, Kristine Payne and Adchara Peterson.

Elizabeth Farris of Paradise was the recipient of the Highest Honor in Associate of Arts in Teaching.
