SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Thefts, burglary and assaults reported

Following are offense reports filed Tuesday by the Parker County Sheriff’s Office:

Vehicle damaged

On Monday a man in the 2000 block of Doss Road in Millsap reported that someone broke the rear passenger window out of his vehicle at an estimated loss of $200.

Pot arrest

Deputies on Tuesday were called to the 11000 block of FM Road 730 in Azle to investigate a report of a man walking while smoking marijuana and possibly carrying a gun.

Officers reportedly found Chad Nattan Kuhn, 36, walking north in the 12000 block of FM 730. No weapon was found but deputies said Kuhn was in possession of a marijuana pipe and a small amount of what was believed to be pot.

Kuhn was reportedly arrested for misdemeanor possession of marijuana less 2 ounces.

Bad check

A man said a check for $820 had cleared his bank account using his forged signature.

Domestic assault

About 3:14 p.m. Tuesday deputies responded to the 2600 block Old Brock Road, in reference to a domestic disturbance. There a 27-year-old woman said her boyfriend assaulted her. Police filed a report but no arrest was reported at the time of the report.

Criminal mischief

Two surveillance cameras at a business in the 3500 block of Cleburne Highway were damaged.

Fuel theft

Deputies were called Tuesday morning to the 4000 block of Fort Worth Highway where a man said sometime late Monday or early Tuesday someone rammed the pipe fence of the property, knocking it down, then taking approximately $2,000 worth of gasoline and diesel out of two pump tanks.

Burglary and assault

Around 12:45 a.m. Tuesday officers were called to a disturbance in the 300 block of Murls Lake Road where two males were reportedly throwing rocks and various items at the complainant’s residence. The suspects then reportedly forced their way inside and assaulted a man and woman inside the residence and tried to stop them from calling 911 while allegedly threatening to hurt and kill them.

The suspects were seen running from the residence as deputies arrived, according to reports. They were found and arrested, identified as Brian Cire, 26, and John Jagoda, 31.

Both men were charged with burglary and obstruction or retaliation, while Cire was also charged with interfering with an emergency telephone call.
