POLICE BLOTTER: Weatherford man arrested on drug warrants

Following are some of the offenses, investigations and calls for service reported by Weatherford police for the period 6 a.m. Tuesday to 6 a.m. Wednesday:

Drug warrants

Justin Daniel Whisman, 29, of Weatherford, was arrested Tuesday night in the 100 block of West Water Street on an outstanding warrant charging him with delivery of a controlled substance between 4 grams and 200 grams, and a Palo Pinto County warrant for organized crime-manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance between 1 gram and 4 grams. He remained in Parker County Jail Wednesday afternoon under bonds totaling $75,000.

Picnic table swiped

Theft of a picnic table was reported at a residence in the 1400 block of Sloan Street. The theft reportedly occurred between Friday afternoon and Tuesday afternoon. The table was valued at $300.

Theft called in

Police were called to the 100 block of Ikard Lane where a woman said sometime between 12:05 p.m. and 12:40 p.m. Tuesday her smartphone, valued at $600, was stolen. The phone is black and was in a leopard print case.

12:54 p.m., suspicious vehicle, 1300 block of South Bowie Drive.

1:01 p.m., reckless driver, Peaster Highway.

2:43 p.m., suspicious vehicle, 1400 block of South Elm Street.

3:10 p.m., minor wreck, 100 block of College Park Drive.

5:31 p.m., threats, 2400 block of Tin Top Road.

5:47 p.m., minor wreck, Santa Fe Drive.

7:48 p.m., criminal trespass, 400 block of College Park Drive.

7:55 p.m., animal call, 1800 block of Jodie Drive.

8:10 p.m., shots heard, 1200 block of West Water Street.

8:11 p.m., suspicious person, 200 block of West Bridge Street.

9:37 p.m., suspicious vehicle, 100 block of South Dubellette Street.

9:57 p.m., suspicious person, 600 block of Palo Pinto Street.

11:13 p.m., suspicious vehicle, 100 block of Santa Fe Drive.
