As she was southbound on Sweetwater Springs, he slammed his car into the back of her vehicle, causing her to drive off the roadway and into a road sign, according to the offense report.
Two children under the age of 12 were reported to be in the vehicle at the time, Huffman said.
He then broke the side door handle by attempting to open it after she locked the vehicle door, according to the sheriff’s office. He also reportedly attempted to break her window but was not successful.
After she arrived home, she reportedly called deputies, who observed extensive damage to her right front fender and a missing car door handle.
Warrants were later issued for his arrest in the case.
