MILLSAP MATTERS: Cleaning up litter has many benefits

There is a sadness in the community on the passing of (Judith) Elaine Littlefield. This lifetime member of the community was a great asset to many area projects and a great supporter of everything that was Millsap. A lady of great faith she had a kind, gentle soul and a quiet cheerfulness that always made you glad to see her.  Condolences to husband, Royce, sons Chris and Brad, and daughter Beth, their families, and her very large extended family.  Elaine will be missed greatly by many.

There will be a new church soon welcoming folks in over at the Littlepage Pavilion, which is close to the Brock/Dennis exit. The Cutting Capital Fellowship is under the stewardship of Glenn and Barbara Littlepage and they are inviting everyone to the dedication of the beautiful new building on April 21 at 1 p.m. They invite you to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the beautiful outdoors surrounding the church, while hearing a good Bible message and enjoying some great music. The regular Sunday services will be at 1 p.m. and the address is 7530 W. I-20 Exit 397, Weatherford. These are very dedicated, friendly people so for any questions feel free to call them at 817 829-5930.

With more on Millsap Log Cabin Day, which will be May 11, everyone is welcome to start off with the free breakfast around the campfire at 7 a.m. A new activity that has been added is a trail ride which will begin at Walden Farm and Ranch Supply on Fairview Road at 8 a.m. Besides lots of great vendor booths there will be a kiddie tractor pull, candle making, flint fire starting, tomahawk tactics, horse shoeing and Confederate re-enactors. To rent booth space or for any more info call 940 682-4667. This is going to be great, so plan on coming out and enjoying all of it!
