MILLSAP MATTERS: Kudos to Bulldogs hoops team

(Continued)

The Newberry Cumberland Presbyterian Church congregation recently had a wonderful surprise visit from their former pastor, Hugh Wagoner, and his wife, Frances.

The Wagoners’ presence was a blessed addition to the worship service. The church is now under the leadership of Pastor Tim Dewhirst and reaches out in service to many in a multitude of ways. Glad you folks got to see the Wagoners!

Gospel singing

Word has it that the recent gospel singing at Holders Chapel was “super good.” This event takes place the first Saturday of each month, while there are also gospel singings at Lambert Switch (north side of U.S. Highway 180, about 10 miles east of Cool) the third and fourth Saturdays. All of these free musicals are 6-8 p.m. and the public is always invited.

Dates to remember

Spring break for Millsap ISD is March 10-14.
