Taking our readers’ pulse

WD asks readers, web users to take part in important community survey

Weatherford Democrat

— What newspapers do you read? What websites do you visit? Where do you shop? How do you use our newspaper and our website? Answers to these and other lifestyle and shopping questions not only help the Weatherford Democrat give you the information you need and want, but could also land you a terrific prize.

The WD has partnered with Pulse Research, an independent, respected, research company, in conducting this study on our behalf. This survey should take approximately 20 minutes to complete. We are living in uncertain economic times and are hoping this research will provide insight into the economic climate of the communities we serve and enable us to strengthen the community bonds we share. We have an obligation to our readers and website users to be proactive within the communities we serve – this is not an obligation we take lightly.

With a better understanding of your spending and purchasing plans we will be able to show local businesses that our readers and website users are in the market for the products and services they offer and regardless of the economy, there is a demand. This poses an opportunity for local businesses as well as our readers and visitors.

The more local ads we run, the more local dollars stay in our communities. We are in the unique position of being able to positively affect our readers, local businesses and ourselves, but we cannot do it without you. This survey takes a little time to complete, but rest assured it is time well spent.

Your information will be kept confidential and used for this survey’s purposes only. You will not receive any solicitations as a result of completing this survey.

Participants will be entered into a drawing to win one of three $200 Albertson’s shopping spree cards. Find the survey online at www.pulseresearch.com/weatherforddemocrat and thanks for helping us help you, our local businesses and our community.

We thank you in advance for your participation in helping make our local economy stronger.
