The 30th Annual Parker County Peach Festival is right around the corner.
One of the county’s biggest events takes place in Historic Downtown Weatherford Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
With more than 45,000 attending last year’s event, over 200 vendor booths have already registered to showcase arts, crafts, food and activities.
Among the festivities will be live music, activities for children, the annual Peach Pedal Bike Ride and a “42” domino tournament.
Admission is $5 for adults and free for children 12 and under. Tickets may be purchased in advance for $4 at the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce offices, 401 Fort Worth Highway, Weatherford.
There will also be free remote parking locations with free shuttle rides to gate entries. Call the chamber at 817-596-3801 for more information.
