Also appearing is special guest Dizzy With a Dame. The show starts at 3 p.m. at the theater located at 315 York Ave. in downtown Weatherford.

For the past 13 years, Hix has been entertaining audiences all across the country. His unique style, confident swagger and charismatic personality has critics from all over comparing him to entertainers such Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Carson, Dean Martin, James Brown and Michael Jackson. His moves are smooth, his wit is charming and his presence is humble. From radio, stage, television and motion pictures.

He has performed with acts such as Cher, Bret Michaels, Rick Springfield, Eddie Money, Loverboy, Sugar Ray, George Jones, Ray Price, Merle Haggard, Charlie Daniels, Willie Nelson, Loretta Lynn, Connie Smith and several others.

Dizzy With a Dame consists of three beautiful women singing in harmony and lighting up the stage with charming personality and synchronized choreography. Influenced by the Puppini Sisters and masters of soul and pop, Dizzy With a Dame is known for its unique, intoxicating style they call a mix of swing-pop-soul. Their fan base grows with every show.

The group formed in early 2013 when Ginny Hix decided to bring a new style of music to the DFW area. Highly influenced by the Andrews Sisters and their more modern counter parts, The Puppini Sisters, Ginny wanted bring that sound back to the U.S. The intention wasn’t to copy something that has already been done, but rather to create a new and exciting sound influenced by the eclectic passions of the group.

The founding members of the group are Ginny Hix, Melissa McLaughlin and Hillary Stanton. Each lady has extensive experience as solo singers but wanted to come together and create something new.

The three met while performing at the legendary Johnnie High’s Country Music Revue in Arlington. However, their passions weren’t primarily in country music. Collectively, they have all been in different groups or bands performing Pop, Country, Jazz, Soul, Classical and Rock & Roll. All of which they bring together for a unique sound.
