A man was arrested Thursday on charges of unlawful restraint and assault of a woman.
According to the Parker County Sheriff’s Office, dispatchers received an open 911 call Thursday where a female sounded as if she was possibly assaulted and in distress. The call was interrupted, and deputies who searched the area of F.M. 730 for the traveling disturbance were unable to locate the vehicle.
Later, shortly before 4 p.m., Parker County authorities were notified of an attempt to locate a black Kia Forte by North Richland Hills, possibly in the area of F.M. 1886 and Ridgeview Drive.
Deputies found the car in the area of 100 block of Grace Lane and F.M. 730 and identified a man and woman inside, according to the sheriff’s office.
The 21-year-old woman told deputies that the driver, identified as 25-year-old Cirilo Anthony Cisneros, punched her multiple times and that she was in fear for her life, according to the probable cause affidavit.
Cisneros was arrested on charge of assault causing bodily injury to a family member and a parole violation warrant.
Cisneros was also charged with unlawful restraint by North Richland Hills police, as well as assault causing bodily injury to a family member with a previous conviction, according to jail records.
He was being held without bond in the Parker County Jail as of Monday.
