A man accused of sexually assaulting a woman at a Weatherford business in March was indicted Thursday on several felony charges.

Alejandro Montes, 20, was indicted on charges of sexual assault and aggravated kidnapping with bodily injury or sexual abuse, as well as an indictment on a charge of tampering with a government document.

According to police, an aquaintance of Montes’ reported Montes trapped her in a refrigerated cooler at a business on South Main Street, fondled her and attempted to sexually assault her despite her telling him no and struggling against him.

During an interview with detectives, police say Montes confessed to the incident and her protests and struggles with him and told officers he wanted to “make her feel good” despite her telling him no and not wanting him to.

During a voluntary search of his vehicle, detectives also located two Social Security cards, an employment authorization card and a permanent resident card. They reportedly later confirmed with the federal government that one Social Security card and the permanent resident card were fraudulent, according to court records.
