A Parker County jury late Wednesday found a Fort Worth man guilty on two counts of aggravated robbery involving a March 2012 home invasion northwest of Weatherford and sentenced him to a reported 70 years prison.

David Alberto Dozal, 26, along with Daniel Wayne Anderson, held Joe and Doris Ann Geer at gunpoint during the robbery, making them lie on their living room floor as the two took jewelry, firearms, a purse and a wallet.

The men, dressed in hooded sweatshirts, reportedly forced their way into the couple’s home in the 100 block of Cahill Court when Joe Geer answered the ringing doorbell.

After three days of testimony during the trial this week, the jury found Dozal guilty of theft of property relating to the burglary of a nearby home the same evening, as well, according to Assistant District Attorney Robert DuBoise.

Anderson pleaded guilty in March to aggravated robbery in exchange for a 30-year sentence.

An aggravated robbery charge against Jacki Lynn Martin, accused of driving the get away car during the robbery, is also pending.
