More than 600 children with Down’s Syndrome and their families came out to the B&B Ranch Saturday for the annual Down Syndrome Roundup. Kids took part in fishing, a petting zoo, games, pony rides and a barbeque meal featuring hamburgers and hot dogs.

Early release today for WISD; delayed opening Friday
Weatherford ISD will be releasing students at all campuses at 2:30 p.m. today (Thursday). Buses will run at 2:30 p.m. for the elementary campuses, and 3 p.m. for secondary campuses. Also, all after-school activities have been cancelled for tonight.

A Lipan ISD baseball coach from Weatherford was found guilty Wednesday of sexually abusing three students and was sentenced to 54 years in prison.
