TOTS presents ‘The Best Christmas Pageant Ever’

Theatre Off The Square presents the third production of their fall mini season, “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever,” written by Barbara Robinson and produced by special arrangement with Samuel French Inc.

The comedy is directed by Amanda Johnson with Rodger D. Johnson II as assistant director and Danielle Foster as stage manager. The show begins Friday, Dec. 6, and runs weekends through Dec. 22.

In this hilarious Christmas tale, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids, probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won’t believe the mayhem and the fun when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on!  This delightful comedy is adapted from the best-selling book and the only story ever to run twice in McCall’s magazine.

Some members of the cast are Nikolai Braswell as Bob Bradley, Amy Beaman as Grace Bradley, Alexis Douds as Beth Bradley, and Michael Dinkins as Charlie Bradley. Kendrick Booth, Molli West, Emma McKay, Connor Kirchhefer, Erika Smith and Jacob Myers play the Herdman kids. Holiday music will be performed by various area children’s choirs.

The public is invited to attend any of the three weekends of Christmas laughs, starting Friday, Dec. 6, and running through Sunday, Dec. 22. Showtimes are Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.

Theatre Off The Square, the only live theatre in Weatherford, is located at 114 N. Denton St.  Tickets are $14 for adults and $12 for seniors 60 and over, students and children under school age. Matinee tickets are $11 for all ages and no other discounts apply. Tickets may be purchased in advance for $12 at Weatherford Chamber of Commerce.

Reserved seating is available and recommended by calling 817-341-8687. You can choose your seats and purchase your tickets to any performance online. Visit www.theatreoffthesquare.org for more information.
