Johnny Bruce May

Johnny Bruce May, 63, passed away Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009.

Johnny May was born Sept. 21, 1945, in Barstow, Calif., the son of Alma and Betty May. He was a long time resident of Fort Worth. Johnny enjoyed handy work around the house and he loved movies.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Marian June May; sons, David Bruce and Richard Lee May, both of California; daughters, Tammy Smets and Terrie Beth Kirkham of California, Kytrina Boundy of Arizona, Robin Peters, Tracie Bush and Rebecca Maxwell of Texas; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in law, and many other family members and friends.

Funeral is 10 a.m. Friday at Aledo Church of Christ. Interment is in Aledo Brown Cemetery.

Visitation is 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
