Muriel Johnson

Muriel Johnson, 85, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2007 in Azle.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Farmer’s Branch. She was a longtime resident of Springtown. Muriel, known as “Nannie” by all who knew her, cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an avid gardener and crocheter.

Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, James.

Survivors include her son, James Johnson and wife, Bobbie, of Springtown; daughter, Brenda Estill and husband, Pat, of Fort Worth; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of friends and acquaintances.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at White’s Funeral Home. Burial will be 2 p.m. Friday at Cisco Cemetery. Visitation is 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
