Donna Marie Ellis

Donna Marie Ellis, 74, of Weatherford, died Monday evening, Dec. 16, 2013, after a lengthy battle with cancer. 

Service is 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Greenwood Community Cemetery following service. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel.

Born Sept. 5, 1939, in Michigan, she was a resident of Parker County for 38 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a coffee connoisseur.

Survivors include daughters, Lori Eddy and husband, Jimmy, of Oklahoma, and Christi Berry, of Oregon; sons, Jeff Chartney and wife, Rosemary, of Choctaw, Okla., and Michael Ellis and wife, Kari, of Weatherford; sisters, Helen Wheeler, of Michigan, and Kathleen Siegfried, of Nebraska; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Melissa, Stephanie, Vanessa, Christopher, Josh, Max, Kelley, Jordan, Ashley, Aaron, Shane and Landon; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, James Russell Ellis; parents, William and Pauline Bauer; brother, William Bauer; and sister, Shirley Bauer.
