Orville W. Massie

Orville W. Massie, 86, died peacefully Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, in Haltom City, Texas.

Graveside service is 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, at Annetta Cemetery in Annetta. Visitation is 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel. Orville has made his way to heaven.

O.W. was born Dec. 20, 1926, to Robert and Fannie Lancastor Massie in Millsap. He resided in Haltom City at the time of his death. O.W. proudly served in the Navy during World War II.

O.W. leaves behind his wife of 56 years, Lenora Massie, of Haltom City; daughter, Karen Nellen and husband, Matthew, of Fort Worth; sons, Richard James ,of Haltom City, Roger Warren, of Plano, and Lonnie Warren, of Arlington; grandsons, Eddie James Jr. and Mason Nellen; sisters, Francis Rutledge and J.L., of Millsap, and Grace Norman of Lipan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and sons, Eddie Sr. and Benjamin James.
