Mary Neil Smith Moody

WEATHERFORD – Mary Neil Smith Moody, longtime resident of Weatherford, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013. She lived to be 101 years old.

Graveside service is 11 a.m. Monday, March 25, at East Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford.

Mary was born in Stanford and lived many years in Odessa and Metairie, La., where her husband worked for Exxon.

Mary is survived by three grandchildren, Laurie Moody McDonald and husband, Michael, of Hillsboro, Fletcher Moody, of Denton, and Shauna Moody Pittman and husband, Andy, of Lufkin; and eight great-grandchildren, Clay and Craig McDonald, Summer, Tyler and Jordan Moody and Collin, Nathan and JoEllen Pittman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Moody and her only child, Dr. Troy Winston Moody in 1996.
