Rose Ellen Gatlin Cartmill

WEATHERFORD – Rose Ellen Gatlin Cartmill, 78, died Dec. 10, 2012, in Weatherford.

Service was Dec. 15 at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury. Burial was in Acton Cemetery. Visitation took place at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cartmill was born Nov. 9, 1934, in Fort Worth to William H. and Rosa Lee Meadows Gatlin. A former resident of Granbury, she had lived in Weatherford the past four years. She was a caregiver, taking care of many people and she loved gardening and cooking.

Survivors include a son, Jimmy Hedge and wife, Mary, of Granbury; daughter, Sharon Auflick, of Fort Worth; grandchildren, David Hedge, Conni Garrison, Jordan Decker, Austin Auflick, Derek Auflick, Rose Auflick, Natalie Hedge and Rachel Hedge; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husbands, Raymond Elwood “Buddy” Hedge and Dickie Cartmill; sons, Ronnie and Larry Hedge; and grandson, James Hedge.
