Jamie Maxine (Ruland) Oefinger

Jamie Maxine (Ruland) Oefinger, 80, of Georgetown, formerly of Hondo, died Feb. 6, 2013.

Service is 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at the Guinn-Horger Chapel in Hondo, followed by committal service at 12:30 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the  funeral home.

Born in Weatherford on Jan. 1, 1933, she was the daughter of Jim and Lillian (Jones) Ruland. She graduated from Weatherford High School, was a homemaker and housewife most of her life and worked for a time as a photography studio sales representative for Olan Mills.

Survivors include her sons, Rick Lewis and wife, Laura, of Alpine, and Mikael Keith Lewis and wife, Alva, of Florence; stepchildren, K. Duane Oefinger and wife, Carmen, of Burleson, and Diane Scotthorn and husband of Burleson; four grandchildren, Mandy, Rode, Bobby and Randy; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Duard Ruland, of Springtown; and sister, June Campbell of Ferris.

Maxine, was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Kenneth H. Oefinger; brother, Marion Ruland; sister, Helen Pritchard; stepson, Donald Oefinger; stepdaughter, Dena Marie Hughes; and two former husbands.
