Weatherford Democrat

— Annie W. Fielder died Thursday, April 4, 2013.

Service is 2 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at North Side Baptist Church. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in East Greenwood Cemetery. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

The daughter of the late Edna Earl and Willie B. Fielder Sr., she was born Aug. 13, 1937, in Washington County, Texas. She was one of eight children, four of whom preceded her in death (Sandra Fielder, Johnny Mac Fielder, Donald Fielder and Cherrie Fielder). She was also preceded in death by two children, Walter Daniels and Nora Ann Jacobs.

Annie was educated in Washington County and Ozona. She was joined in holy matrimony to Wallace Dimery Sr. in 1953. To this union six children were born. Annie moved her children to Weatherford in 1967. She resided in Weatherford until being called to her heavenly home.

Annie gave her life to Christ at an early age. In keeping with her faith she was an active member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Pastor Joe Gresham, for over 25 years. She devoted her life to loving God and sharing His message with others, especially her children and grandchildren. She spent her life working and giving back to others. Her work included caring, cooking and cleaning in both the public and private sector. Her last years of employment were spent at Walmart, Weatherford College and Weatherford ISD, the last two from which she retired. She has gone home to live with our Lord and Savior.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons Rev. Wallace Dimery Jr. and wife, Kay, of Killeen and Rev. Clark Dimery (Jeanette) of Augusta, Ga.; four daughters, Diane Brazzell (Jeff), Wilma Rucker, Elsie Porter and Barbara Dimery, all of Weatherford; three siblings, Shirley Richardson (Paul), of Colorado Springs, Colo., Willie B. Fielder, Jr. (Thelma), of Beaumont, and Alonzo Fielder (Chanetta), of Weatherford; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends left behind to carry on her legacy.
