Nancy Ella Ball

WEATHERFORD – Nancy Ella Ball, 69, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012.

Service is 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at Couts Memorial United Methodist Church, 802 N. Elm St., Weatherford. Interment will be in Memory Gardens of the Valley. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Thursday at White’s Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford.

Nancy was born June 3, 1943, in Los Angeles, Calif., the daughter of Francis Arthur and Mary Elva Gonzalez Laubenthal. She married her first husband, Jimmy Paulman, father of her son, John Paulman, in 1963. Nancy married her second husband, William Lynn Ball, in 1983 and they lived in Fort Worth, Hurst and Weatherford. She lived with her son and daughter-in-law in Weatherford for the past five years. Nancy was a member of Country Cross Roads Club and attended Couts Memorial United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her son, John Paulman and wife, Karen; granddaughter, Katie; stepson, Wess Ball and wife, Suzanne; step-grandchildren, Allison, Dana and Tyler; brother, Frank Laubenthal and wife, Marilyn; sister, Frances Wolf and husband, Gordon; and numerous nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Lynn, in 2005.
