Virgil C. Fincher

March 14, 1932 — Oct. 14, 2013

STEPHENVILLE — Services for Virgil C. Fincher, 81, business owner in the automotive industry, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Goodfellow officiating. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, at Lacy Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home. 

Virgil was born in Lamesa, TX on March 14, 1932, to Virgil and Fredda Fincher. He married Betty Jean Parnell on June 7, 1952, in Erath County. She preceded him in death on Aug. 12, 1982. He then married Jo Ann Robinson on Nov. 9, 1989 in Weatherford. 

He was a member of Brock United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Fincher, of Weatherford; his children, Kevin Fincher and wife, Lisa, of Stephenville, Shelli Wilson, of Marble Falls, Leslie Dickey and wife, Julie, of Weatherford, Sandra Fowler, of Weatherford, Brenda Cole and husband, Jackie, of Weatherford, and Sheila Drozer and husband, John, of Grand Rapids, MI; 16 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three children, John Conway Fincher, in 1957, Louis Clifford Fincher, in 1958, and Lezlie Ann Fincher, in 1959; and two grandsons, Ethan and Evan Fincher, in 1989.
