Linda Kay Hawpe

Linda Kay Hawpe, 62, died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, surrounded by her loving family.

Graveside service is 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, at East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation is 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel. 

Born Dec. 13, 1951, in Weatherford to James and Wynelle Hawpe, Linda was the middle child of three girls. A Bingo player and hard worker, Linda spent most of her working life helping people as a salesclerk in retail. 

Linda leaves behind her son, Jeff Snell, and his wife, Lisa of Springtown; grandchildren, Mitchell Snell and wife, Melissa, of Lake Worth, and Hailey Snell and Devin Snell, of Springtown; great-grandchild, Madison Snell, of Lake Worth; mother, Wynelle Hamilton, of Fort Worth; sisters, Janice Smith, of Benbrook, and Debbie Wagner, of Haslet; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, James Hawpe.
