— Ida Mae Paupke, 79, died peacefully Monday, Feb. 10, 2014.

Memorial service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at Central Christian Church, 1602 S. Main St., Weatherford, TX 76086.

Ida was a longtime resident of Weatherford. She was a florist for most of her life and owned her own flower shop, Forget Me Not. She was also the founder of the women’s support group Freedom House of Parker County. She has touched many lives with her generosity and care and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Rudy Paupke; children, Patricia Dees and Randy L. Paupke; grandchildren, Don Dees and wife, Bobbie, Jodi Paupke, Michael Dees and wife, Elizabeth, Linsi Paupke and fiancé, Beau Brassell, and David Allison; great-grandchildren, Dakota Dees, Colton Dees and Dante Dees; sister, Arzille Petty; sister-in-law, Patt Browy; daughter-in-law, Sandy Allison and husband, Chris; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

Ida was preceded in death by her father, Soloman Gilbert; mother, Jewel Waldrop; stepfather, Lee Waldrop; brother, Alfred Gilbert; and sister, Lucille Williams.
