Frank Guerry

Frank Guerry, 90, of Weatherford, died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at his residence.

Service is 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 24, in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Interment will be in Authon Cemetery. Visitation is 4-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Frank Guerry was born Nov. 11, 1923, in Olney, son of the late Irvin and Irene Tinker Guerry. He served his country in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS North Carolina during World War II. In 1951 he married Margie Griffith, the mother of his two daughters. Frank later married the former Emma Jean Baze on Dec. 23, 1977. He retired from General Dynamics after a lengthy and dedicated career and was a member of Whitt Lodge No. 624.

Survivors include daughters, Dianne Guerry, of Arlington, and Barbara McMahon, of Chicago; stepsons, Randy and Ricky Baze, of Sherman; brother, Vernon Guerry and wife, Ruth, of Weatherford; sister, Frances Long; and a host of loving family and friends.

Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Jean Baze; his parents; brothers, Randal Guerry and Elmo Guerry; a sister, Doris Tucker; and a stepson, Dan Baze.
