John E. “Jet” Terry

John E. “Jet” Terry, age 47, of Weatherford, died Saturday, July 27, 2013, in a Fort Worth Hospital. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, with interment in the Annetta Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at the funeral home.

Jet was born June 7, 1966, in Weatherford, where he had lived all his life. He was a welder, pipefitter, pipe liner and a member of the Baptist Church. He loved hunting, archery, playing checkers, chess and monster trucks. Jet was preceded in death by his father, J. R. “Jr.” Terry.

Survivors: wife, Monica Terry, of Weatherford; stepdaughter, April Campbell, of Weatherford; mother, Margaret Terry, of Weatherford; sister, Laura Harris Scott (Tommy); aunts, Faye Taylor, of Weatherford, Ruth Miller, of Bay City, JoAnn Fowler and husband, Herb, of Weatherford,  and  Jo Malugani, of Weatherford; nephew, Joe Harris, Jr. and wife, Kara, of Weatherford; great niece, Ella Jo Harris, of Weatherford; special brother and friend, Joe Harris, Sr., of Weatherford; numerous cousins and friends. Jet is also survived by his beloved dog, Chup.
