WHITE SETTLEMENT – Jean Jones Reddelle, 71, died peacefully Sept. 14, 2013, at her home in White Settlement.
A memorial service is 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, at White Settlement Nursing Center. She is now home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Jeanelle was born to W.R. (Bill) and Evelyn Pritchard Stults on July 14, 1942, in Weatherford. She celebrated her 71st birthday with her family in Weatherford. Jean lived in several different states in her lifetime, but always came back to Weatherford.
Wherever Jean was at Christmas, she made candy, cookies and cakes and mailed them to friends and relatives. She was a wonderful cook. She was very artistic. She made beautiful ceramics. She was a good seamstress and did oil paintings. In her younger years, Jean was a hard worker. She managed a convenience store and loved it. At one time she worked at a pallet factory and became supervisor over all the men in her department, including her husband.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond Redelle; her mother, Evelyn Hobbs; her daughter, Penny Jones Stoops and Rick, of Arizona; seven grandchildren, including special grandson Ethan Trey Jones and wife, Alleisha, of Mineral Wells; great-grandson, Trey Allen Jones; a brother, Randy and Dee Stults, of Mineral Wells; a sister, Susie Jones, of Weatherford; nephews, Phillip and Chris Stults, of Mineral Wells; two aunts; one uncle; and many cousins.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Jones; her beloved son, William Timothy Stults; infant twin brother and sister; father, William (Bill) Stults; and special friend, Linda Carr.
The family wishes to thank the staff at White Settlement Nursing Center who took care of Jean, spoiling and pampering her and saving her life many times. Thanks to Grace Hospice for making her last days comfortable.
