B.R. “Bill” Holloway, age 77, of Weatherford, died Monday, March 24, 2014.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2014, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Zion Hill Baptist Church or your favorite charity.
Mr. Holloway was born on Nov. 12, 1936, in Brady, Texas. He was a retired service manager for the Weatherford Goodyear Store, and was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church where he served as an elder. He loved hunting, fishing and was an avid reader of western novels. Bill was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be remembered as “a perfect example of a Dad.”
Mr. Holloway is preceded in death by his parents; Rayford and Paula Holloway; sister, JoAnn McAnally; and grandson, Jacob Hunter.
Survivors: loving wife of 57 years, Irene Holloway; daughters, Lynn Ryan and husband, T. E., of Poolville, Vicki Hunter and husband, Alton, of Boyd, and Sherri Wolfenberger and husband, Travis, of Peaster; sons, Karl Holloway and wife, Diane, of Paducah, Texas, and Kevin Holloway and wife, Tomara, of Weatherford; 18 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
