— Dee Railsback, 73, of Weatherford, died Jan. 10, 2013, at a local hospital after a lengthy illness he fought courageously.

Service is 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Springtown Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Saturday.

Dee was born July 23, 1939, in Lamesa, Texas, to Frank and Lorene Railsback. Dee retired from Lockhead Martin after 35 years in 2011. Before working for Lockhead Martin, Dee was a barber. He was a lifetime member of the Little League Umpires, calling games in the Little League World Series in 1986, The Sons of the American Legion Squadron 163, Grand Lodge Master Mason’s and enjoyed the outdoors and gardening.

Dee is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Beverly Railsback, of Weatherford; sons, Dell and David Railsback; “granddaughters,” Jalyn and Jessi and Yorkie Buttons; and a host of other loving friends.

Mr. Railsback was preceded in death by his father Frank; mother, Lorene; and grandson, Darr.
