Ruth Rhoades Ptomey



ARLINGTON — Claudie Ruth Ptomey, 89, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Arlington Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Parkdale Cemetery. Visitation is from 5:30-8 p.m. Wednesday at Arlington Funeral Home.

Claudie was born in Jack County and was a resident of Arlington for over 60 years. Her children called her blessed and know she touched many lives in her walk on earth.

Survivors include her sons, Al Ptomey and Joe Ptomey and wife, Wendy; daughters, Glenda Hogan and husband, Charles, and Shirley Butler and husband, Kenneth; nine grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
